The ThermalWeld Story...
ThermalWeld, an incredible new graphite
composite headgasket formula (patent pending) was created by chemist/inventor, Robert
Hooper in Pismo Beach California. Mr. Hooper has an advanced degree in Chemistry from Cal
Poly, and formerly taught Chemistry at the college level. ThermalWeld is not his first
patented invention, and he currently has more pending.
ThermalWeld was researched extensively before becoming available commercially. We tested
the formula on the most damaged head gasket cases which we could find; those being
primarily vehicles that had been junked at auto wrecking yards. Beginning in 1998, after
several modifications and successfully fixing junked cars, we began testing and following
the progress of privately owned vehicles. Thus far it has an unbelievable 94% success rate
at fixing blown head gaskets and the cars are all still on the road and running great.
When the cause of the blown head gasket has been resolved, ThermalWeld has proved to be a
permanent fix; there have been no recurrences of the original problem in the cars fixed
with the ThermalWeld formula.
In our testing of the products currently available for the repairing of blown head
gaskets, we have found that there is no direct competition to ThermalWeld in the areas of
service, cost-effectiveness or technology. The formulas available on the shelves of
automotive repair stores either did not seal the leaks, or at best, offered a very
temporary (10 to 300 mile) fix. The traditional repair for these problems requires
disassembling the engine and correcting the problem or replacing the part manually. This
is a time consuming process and costs the consumer anywhere from $800.00 to $2500.00,
depending on the model of the automobile. In comparing the ratio of problem re-occurrences
on repairs done with ThermalWeld graphite composite head gaskets v/s the traditional
mechanical process, we found them to be essentially equal, given that the correct
treatment process and protocol is followed when using our product. ThermalWeld has now
been used commercially for almost three years.
Perceiving the far reaching potential of ThermalWeld for fixing cars that would otherwise
be valueless, the company's founders envisioned and implemented the present business plan.
Now by selling the ThermalWeld product at a fraction above our cost, to be used on
automobiles that have been donated to charity, we have effectuated our goal of giving back
to others. Thus, inspired by charitable organizations nationwide, it is with renewed
passion that we steer our company in the direction of constructively helping to change
lives.
